Apple Pie is one of my favorite desserts but I have a difficult time finding one in the freezer case at my local supermarket that doesn't taste like perfume or feel like I am chewing rubber. I make it possible for me to make pie within an hour by canning my favorite recipe for apple pie filling. Whenever I want apple pie throughout the year I just open a jar and empty its contents into a pie shell and bake. It's that easy.
